The story is about the courtship and marriage among the aristocracy of pre-industrial England, focusing on the search for love against the desire for financial securityand social condition. Oscar-nominated version was developed by Working Title Films, the production directed by Joe Wright and based on a screenplay by Deborah Moggach. E 'was 16 September 2005 in the United Kingdom November 11, 2005, published in the United States. E 'was shot entirely in England in the summer of 2004 and uses numerous castles, like Chatsworth House in Derbyshire and Wilton House in Salisbury (as Pemberley), Groombridge Place in Kent (as Longbourn), Basildon ParkBerkshire (as Netherfield Park) and Burghley House in Lincolnshire (as Rosings - the town next to Stamford was Meryton).
